Cancellation of Applications

There is a $100 cancellation fee for all applications that are cancelled after the approval process has begun.


Certificate of Insurance

We require at least a minimum of $1,000,000 of insurance for filming in the City of Atlanta on public property.  The COI must list City of Atlanta / 55 Trinity Ave / Atlanta GA 30303 as the lien holder.

City of Atlanta Parks

All inquiries to film in any City of Atlanta Parks must come thru our office first. Upload the site plan in your application to start the approval process marking off the area where production wants to film.  (A sample of the site plan is located in the tabs to your right)

Centennial Olympic Park

This is a state park please contact April Russell, Director of Sales ApRussell@gwcc.com
 for filming.
City of Atlanta does not permit for this park. 

City of Atlanta Fire Department - Fire inspections / Pyro / SPFX

All Fire Watch forms must be completely filled out and sent to Capt Andre Owens, Andowens@atlantaga.gov  and Special Events Manager, Leslie Lynum Llynum@atlantaga.gov

Streetcar and MARTA Filming

The streetcar is now under the jurisdiction of MARTA. Filming on or around MARTA please contact Justin Wilson at 404-848-5792 or jwilson1@itsmarta.com Street-Car safety contact Troy Curry at tcurry@itsmarta.com.  

 

Street Light Request

For street light request, we require at least 48 hours in advance for city lights and 72 hours in advance for Georgia Power. All requests must be made through the City of Atlanta, Office of Transportation. Please reach out to Clyde Moore at cmoore@atlantaga.gov.

 

Hartsfield-Jackson Airport

If you want to film at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, please contact media relations at  atlreelz@atl.com before submitting an application.
 

Business License

The City of Atlanta Office of Revenue requires that you obtain a business license for filming projects lasting or expected to last thirty (30) days or longer.  Please visit the City of Atlanta website to obtain more information. www.atlantaga.gov


Water Meter Rentals

To obtain a water meter please submit your application to hydrameters@atlantaga.gov
Please allow 3 to 5 business days for this process. Appointments to pick up meters are Mondays,
Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9AM until 3PM (which will be coordinated thru that department upon payment and posting to your account) Submit your application by 3pm for same day processing, after 3pm will process the next day. If you have any questions/concerns, please email Rodrigus Harris at rharris@atlantaga.gov.

 


Qualified Contractor Permits for Ground Disturbance

Application process requires 10 to 14 days in advance. Please note this request is outside of the film permitting process. Please contact Carolyn Herron with ATLDOT for more information Ceherron@atlantaga.gov.
